1. I chose this project because astronomy fascinates me. It is something that I have loved to learn about since I was little. I also chose this because sixth grade is my ideal grade to teach.
2. Students will be able to use this interactive presentation to learn more about the planets in our solar system. It will be easy to assign to a child who has missed class, or just as a general classroom assignment. We could use the computer lab to complete it. I think the kids would have fun with it.
3. The interactive lessons make learning more fun for them because they are actually doing the learning themselves. They get to find everything by themselves and use their deductive reasoning in a stress free environment.
4. I learned how to embed videos into a powerpoint which will make showing clips much easier in the future. I also learned how to make interactive buttons that make the presentations much more fun.
5. All of the different hyperlinks and buttons worked very well for me. It was really easy once I figured it out.
6. I had a harder time embedding the youtube video in my powerpoint, but eventually I was able to figure it out.
7. I especially learned how to embed vidoes, and now I can do it very well. I also learned how to add a specific sound to a picture, and how to make a picture a button to get to the next slide.
